TGIF Games RFP
Purpose
The purpose for this Request for Proposal(RFP) is to implement a network for our new office. Vendors will be selected on their ability to deliver a quality product in a timely manner while remaining within the budget.
Our Company
We are a small independent game developer for tablet apps. Being a startup we are looking for cheap but capable hardware to run our development system on as well as testing before deployment. We have been making games for almost a year and are beginning to see an increase in our user base. This has prompted us to increase our ability produce games of a higher caliber and this means better equipment and workspace.

The following is a baseline for the type of equipment we are looking for. After careful study and follow-up questions if your firm has further suggestions or can recommend a better option then we will discuss these changes with you

- UPS system to cover the server, networking equipment, and the heavy workstations. Must be able to keep all systems on for at least 5 minutes in event of power failure.

Evaluation Criteria
The total bid should include the purchase and installation of all equipment as well as support and maintenance. The selected firm will be able to provide us with everything we need within a six-month time frame. Our business is growing and the firm that can provide us with these options will have the first look option on any future upgrades our company requires.

September 18, 2015 – Selected firms will attend a meeting at TGIF Games current office to prepare a Scope of Work.
September 22, 2015 – Scope of Work Due
September 25, 2015 – Notification of Selection Results
October 2015 – Contract start
